Has been a bad rain day and I have
watched TV, crocheted, read & slept till it
now 7:15 p.m. I decided I'd double check on
some genealogy. I finally got the $15.00 book
and so far, nothing. Is nearly all of the
Spanish era & the silly man used Spanish
names for all the French, I can read it ok
but it aggravates me to have to do so.
Did I send you the succession of
Marguerite Cheval? Am sure I did, as I
zeroed it but am so forgetful, no telling
where I sent it.
This Lincot family was in N.O. in the
earliest days, & Anne LePine married Chas. but
I don't believe she was widow Lepine. But
L'epint which is my line. She had a son by
first husband and believe she bonded
him out to be trained for gunsmith by
by one of Joseph Chauvin "dit" Delerys sons
who called him self de "Boisclair", also my line.
Am just giving this from memory, as the records
are out at my home in country.
As to Francois Perthuis, there were
several of them. The one who married Angelique
LePine was Francois Paul Parry. I was going to
get this copied out of Tanguay's French dictionary
but didn't get it. Am sending you the
first of the line. Sylvian Perthuis & Marthurine
Ranciot were parents of Pierre, born 1644 - he
married Claude Demise, & Pierre son married
Catherine Mallet, he born 1686. Another Pierre
born 1691. Married Angelique Caron.
