After the name of each habitant, in the first section, are tabulated the numbers of persons and animals of his household; the figures are included in this present typescript for only four habitants. Only the numbers of livestock are indicated in the MS. in the case of Flamant and Lafroray. After the name of Flamant is the letter P (capital), indicating perhaps the father of another Flamant - but no other of that name appears in the MS. There are in all, 7 "officers and habitants;" 8 women; 8 boys; 8 girls; 14 slaves; 3 horses; 29 "boeufs;" 80 cows; 27 pigs. The only large herd of cattle is that of the departed Flamant, numbering 8 "boeufs" and 17 cows. In the second section (boss voyageurs) the names of the engages employed by the various bourgeois are not given. It is not said that the census is made at the Arkansas Post. Apparently Delino is the only officer. Since this is his own census, the name appears to be properly spelled as above.
