REFERENCES noted in GENESIS that appear to be pertinent to my investigation of
Arkansas Post Commanders
In 1731 1st Ensign de Coulange is shown as stationed at Ark. Post. I believe this
to be Louis Rene Petit de Coulanger who married Francoise Gallard de Chamilly and
that their grandson was also a commandant at Arkansas Post 1795-1802.
Your Cathedral MARRIAGE REGISTER 1731-33 gives COULANGE. Louis & GALARD, Fsce 48
In "Repertoire du Premier Des Baptimes, 1731-1733 is PETIT, Maria Francois
which could be their daughter whose son was the later commandant per above.
These from BAPTISMAL REGISTER IV (1759-1762) which contains also marriages...

Voisin, Francoise with RICARD, Balthaz____59
There were two here in 1780s that I have reason to believe were brothers although
the records I have examined call one Louis de Villars and one Jacabo Dubrlel. From
their ages in Spanish military records it is possible they could be the records
listed in BAPTISMAL RECORD - Book II - 1744-1753 as I have a theory they could be
sons of Louis DuBruieul Villars and Felicite Delachaise.
