By notarial act, Francois Baudouin, native of
Rouen, France, son of Francois Baudouin and
>Widow of Marie Jeanne Carell (?)<
Catherine Petremiche, resident of this Colony,
widow of Manuel Lafleur, daughter of Pierre
Petremiche and Catherine Lecler, enter into a
contract of marriage stipulating the following
Their properties, movables and immovables, to
be administered according to the ordinance of
community of gains and acquets conformably to
the old law of Paris.
The future wife's dowry consists of household
furnishings and furniture, estimated value sum
of 300 livres.
The preciput is 150 livres.
The future husband settles on the future wife
sum of 300 livres for her to enjoy as juratary
caution (personally) from the date of marriage.
The contracting parties make a deed of gift of
all their properties to the survivor.
