Dear Mr. Olinde,
I apologize for the tardiness of my reply to your query.
My husband had five-bypass cardiac surgery
first of May which has precluded much of anything
else. He is improving daily I am now happy to say.
First- yes - the detached sheets recopied in the Ark.
records of acts by Meurin were correctly dated 1764.
The manuscript sent to printer was also correctly 1764.
The printer failed to "proof" his work and the error was
not noted until many were sold.
The microfilm records Dr Ferguson referred to held by
the Ark. History Commission do not have an English
calendar that I know of. I tried to get some French
teachers interested in doing some translations but no luck.
There are some French calendars but I do not have
access here.LSU may well have these some records

You will note in Arkansas Colonials that Pierre P. is
almost certainly the habitant Hollindre in 1758 at
Ark, Post. Some years back I exchanged data with
Hazel B. Bello, Box 34, Lakewood, La 70752. Enclosed is
what she compiled combining what she had from Baton
Rouge Diocese Archives and what I sent her. We lost
contact after I was advised she was ill. You might learn
more concerning her research.
Michel Petersel is the only one found later in Ark
as far as I have found. He did marry Jeanne Camel (Kamel)
in 1773 but she was a widow (with a daughter married at some time)and I have found no
record of any issue. Enclosed are copies of two wills by him (Michel)
