Little Mohee
As I was out walking For pleasure one day Whom should I meet But a little Mohee.
She sat down beside me Took hold of my hand Saying you are a stranger Not one of my band.
But if you will follow You're welcome to come For I live by myself In a neat little home.
My dearest maiden That never can be For I have a sweetheart Across the salt sea.
And now I'm home again To my own native shore Kind friends and relations Gather round me once more
Mid these friends and relations There's none that I see That I can compare with The little Mohee.
