Reel 210, Item 3
The Blind Man And His Sons
ALR: ...He had two sons, and he were blind. So he
said, "Sons, you boys come here." And, of
course, the boys went to him. He says, "Now, I
want you all to go down to the pool and get in
and bathe all over." So one boy, he went on
down and done like his father said. He got in
the pool, and he washed all over. He came up
pretty and white. So the other boy, he says,
"Aw, he can't see." He went down and put his
hands in the water and the bottom of his feet.
So that's all that got clean, just the palms of
his hands and the bottom of his feet. And so
that was the end of that one, see, one was good
and the other one wasn't.
