Mrs Richard L Holt 1st Sgt R.L. Holt Fayetteville, Arkansas Btry "B" 936 FA BN RFD#5 A.P.O. 464% Post Master New York, NY May 13, 1944 My Dearest One Italy Hello Sweet & how are you to-night? As for my- self I am still OK. & fully fine. We have been a little lonely the past day or two other wise they are about the same. Had a letter from Mother to-day but no letter from you, but maby I will to- morrow. Honey I am not in much of a mood to write to-night, so the letter may not amount to much. Well sweet I stoped & had a cup of coffee. Our supply is getting about gone. But it sure has been good while it lasted. I sure hope the little girl is still improving and by now is entirely well. Honey I just don't seem to write at all to-night. The fact is I guess I am like you have been, just having an accute spell of wanting my wife. So I will sign of for this time. Tell Richard Lee if he dosen't improve his way, that I will have a score to settle with him when I do get home. I love you Sweetheart Lee
