Byron Lewis Robinson, M.D. (b.1892-d.1973) was Dean of the University of Arkansas School of Medicine (now UAMS) in Little Rock from 1941 to September 1946. Dr. Robinson faced numerous difficulties during his tenure as Dean. Still, he was able to make the changes necessary for the school to finally obtain ""full approval"" for accreditation (formerly Grade A) by the American Medical Association . Dr. Robinson was also on the faculty of the Anatomy Department at the medical school from 1925 to 1947.
