From the Northwest Arkansas Times, June 29, 1957: Idle Hour Club members, pictured at a meeting of the gropu in 1913, are from left to right, Mrs. Burton Wilson, Mrs. Otey Miller, Mrs. G. Ashton Vincenheller, Mrs. John C. Futrall, Mrs. Charles Healy, Mrs. Wallace Ferguson, Mrs. Will Magruder, Mrs. Jerome Reynolds, Mrs. J. H. McIlroy, Mrs. L. R. Putman, Mrs. Wythe Walker, Mrs. Will Morgan, and Mrs. C. D. McIlroy. This second social club to be organized in Fayetteville, followiing the first, "Well-Known Wives of Unknown Men" which lasted only a short time, and some of the members organized the Idle Hour Club. |
