The Widow Murphy
I'm as ... I live on a spot ...
And the spot, it's a place of great fame;
The tourists by thousands come over the sea
Just to view it and welcolm its name.
It's a place of great freedom and social renign,
It's connected with high and with low,
I'll tell you the name of that quaint little spot,
Sure, they called it Sweet Sandy Row.
To the departure on Sunday I make quite a guise(?)
While the neighbors gaze on with surprise,
With me bonnie blue hat and me swallow tail coat
Sure, I travel in spite of their eyes.
You can travel from Clair to the Carthy Kildare,
From ... below,
But, where would you see a fine widow like me,
Mrs. Murphy, from Sweet Sandy Row?
