Reel 336, Item 2
My Old Horse
My old horse was coal coal black,
Moved his tail to save his back.
Cross cut a waddlin, hum dum day,
The day's a burden and the swingo.
Sharo sharo sharo go around
Sharo lie shicklen shimmy pappy too,
Cross cut a waddlin a hum dum day,
The day's a burden and a swingo.
That old buzzard flew so high,
Thought my horse would never die.
That old buzzard he lit in the grass,
He thought my horse had died at last.
My old horse his name was Ball,
I rode him in the summer and he died in the fall. Refrain.
