The Devil Takes a Wife
You can't have my oldest son
For me and him are the working ones,
Saying hi fi di fi diddle fi dum Fi dum fi diddle fi dum.
You can have my scolding wife,
Hi fi di fi diddle fi dum,
You cna have my scolding wife,
But you can't keep her to save your life,
Singing hi fi di fi diddle fi dum Fi dum fi diddle fi dum. 1.
Old devil he packed her on his back,
Just like an old peddler with his pack.
When they got to hell they were all in bed.
So she picked up a hammer, started knockin em in the head.
Eight little devils climbin' up the wall,
Sayin', Papa take her to hell fore she kills us all.
