Reel 421 Item 2
Though Love is Done
Though Love is done, I'm glad to say I do not mope my dear,
I go about my task each day I rarely shed a tear.
I hang the kittens on their pegs And comb the morning mail And sew the buttons on the eggs And dust the ginger ale.
I rake and water down the rug And then I take a walk,
And if I melt a fire plug,
I stop awhile and talk.
Oh, I am busy all the day,
For which I'm very glad
For otherwise I'd think of yon,
My darling, and go mad.
