Reel 423, Item 9
A Death Warning
This story was supposed to have happened in my mother's family about fifty years ago. Her younger brother had been injured in an accident and was in the hospital. And one of the older brothers was coming home from the hospital at night, and he thought he saw another brother ahead of him, and he tried to catch up with him. But no matter how fast he ran he couldn't catch up. So he finally got home. And the older brother that he thought was ahead of him wasn't there. And whoever it was that was that was walking ahead of him disappeared just as he got in the door. And they thought it was some kind of a warning, because the boy that was injured that was in the hospital had died that night, while they were on their way home.
