Song of the Ozarks
Thee, I love these Ozark Mountains,
They’ve always been so good to me.
No other place can compare
And their beauty rests to cover every single tree.
And the scenery in the Ozarks With all of its many thrills,
It’s sure a pleasure to me and always will be
With the winding roadways and beauty in the hills.
The valley with beautiful color,
Of red, green, and brown,
The breeze always whistles a heart-felt tune With its wonderful wintery sound.
In my song about the Ozarks I never could say enough;
No other place could compare With the beauty rare;
there’re a joy forever, a diamond in the rough. (Repeat chorus)
