The Blue-Ridge Mountains (parody)
In the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia,
There lived two mountain goats,
They had just eaten fresh dynamite,
Thinking it was Quaker Oats.
Old Nanny feeling young and playful,
Decided to give ole Bill a fright,
Not knowing that he was loaded,
Until she touched off his dynamite.
Then away went ole Bill just a sailing,
Through the trails o'er the lonesome pine,
In New Orleans, they found his whiskers,
In South Carolina they found his spine,
And they found his tail just a'waving,
In the top of the lonesome pine.
