Mrs. T.M. Davis Fayetteville, Ark. April 30, 1962
Reel 406, Item 1
"This is a story my dad used to tell about a man that was put in prison. And,uh, they offered him his freedom if he could exist in this prison for a certain period of time(Ithink it was about six months) if he could exist in there without food or water.
So, he said all right, I agree, that if you let my wife come and see me once each day. So, his wife came to see him once each day.
She had a small baby unbeknownst to them that was breast fed. So, when he'd come in, she would milk milk for him and give it to him when they wasn't looking. And at the end of the six month period, he was still alive and looking hearty and healthy and so they had to let him go free."
