Indian Love Call
There was an Indian maid A shy little prairie maid,
Who sung all day a love song gay While on the plains she wore the daisy.
She loved a warrior boy
He rode one day to the _________far away.
Now the moon shines tonight on pretty Red Wing, While the breezes sighing While the nighthird's crying
Far, far beneath the stars her brave is sleeping While the Red Wing's weeping her heart away.
She watched for him both day and night
As seh danced by the campfires bright
And each night she would lie beneath the stars
And dream of him coming back by and by
And all the brave's return
The heart of A Red Wing yearn
And far away her lover gay fell bravely one day.
